A sightseeing trip to Korea

My daughter and I went on a sightseeing trip to Korea, a four-day
three-night trip, last weekend. We went on group tour but had enough
free time to venture to get on a subway, eat what we like, do our shopping
and hang round  for ourselves .Here is a lot of photos of what our trip
looked like on the first day and the second day.

They were very tasty to have with lots of rice.

This hotel was conveniently located. There was a big supermarket right in front of it.

Night view from there

A restaurant we had breakfast.

Breakfast of the second day "Soup with some Alaska pollock and vegetables"
This meal was plain and gentl to the stomach. I like it very much.

"Hwaseong Fortress" (水原華城:スウォンファソン)

A east gate of  Hwaseong Fortress ,蒼龍門(チャンリョンムン)

We visited a pottery of Korean celadon to watch an ascending kilm and how to make them. they were so fascinating that I got one cute ornament of pig to commemorate.

The view of " Lotte World "from a restaurant  we enjoyed lunch.

My favorite "Stone scorch Bibimbap"(石焼きビビンバ) , crzy for Burnt rice.
The World Heritage List  "Seolleung (宣陵)"
Tomb of King Seongiong (成宗大王),the 9th Ruler of Joseon Dynasty
 (朝鮮王朝), and his second Queen

How solemn! Here's a main gate called Tonhwamun (敦化門),
National Treasure, to ”Changdok Palace ( 昌徳宮 / チャンドックン)”

King's Chair in Throne Hall  (仁政殿)

Nakseonjae area in the east (楽善斎一帯)

Lively city of Seoul

They were so pretty that I had taken a photo in spite of myself.

A dining room we ate  supper.

Hot and bittersweet  Dak galbi was good taste.

I tried a slot machine three times. The result was....... :-C

We were walking around the hotel late night.

My dear daughter wanted to play a Crane Game. She tried five times,
got one little raccoon dog. That was good.

Some snacks, juice, noodle and yogurt we bought at a supermarket just by
the hotel for ourself and souvenir.I don't get  tired of seeing there at all.

I had exciting, blissful time in Korea.
A continuation of our delightful trip is next post.

Have a lovely Sunday!
